Raw base paper is a kind of special industrial paper, made of high quality wood pulp and titanium dioxide, always in white color (or other solid color like cream, yellow, brown, gray according customer’s requests). The raw base paper will be further processed of printing, coating or impregnation in customer’s factory. It is essential material for printed decor paper (Polaroid decor paper), Amino decor paper, PU decor paper and Melamine impregnated paper.
The normal width of the raw base paper is 1250mm or 1270mm, length 1000m, 1250m, 1500m, 2000m or 2500m/roll (width and length also can be specified by customer).
There are mainly 2 kinds of raw base paper: 1. raw base paper for printed decorative paper (Polaroid decor paper), Amino decor paper, PU decor paper ( this raw base paper weight 30-65g/m², do not add titanium dioxide), 2. raw base paper for Melamine impregnated ( this raw base paper weight 60-120g/m², titanium dioxide is an important raw material).
